The MKDEI – City Centre is committed to preparing graduate students for entry into the Indian Armed Forces as an officer. The Centre provides focused and structured training for various competitive examinations such as CDSE, AFCAT, CGCAT, CAPE The preparation includes both the written examinations and all types of SSB interviews, conducted in a systematic and integrated manner. Along with academic preparation, emphasis is placed on developing the Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) required to succeed in the Services Selection Board (SSB). The faculty at MKDEI – City Centre comprises experienced professionals from both academic and military
backgrounds. Their expertise and dedication ensure that each aspirant receives quality input and continuous guidance throughout their preparation process. We aim to shape competent, confident, and responsible individuals who are well-prepared to serve the nation as officers in the armed forces.

MKDEI – City Centre offers specialized coaching for written examinations such as CDSE, AFCAT, CGCAT, CAPE along with SSB Interview Training. The curriculum covers a required range of subjects including English, General Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
The Centre employs interactive teaching methods and is equipped with E-learning devices to enhance the academic experience. A well-stocked library and a dedicated study hall providing a ideal environment for
focused self-study. The atmosphere makes the learning journey at MKDEI both effective and enriching.

The written examinations for CDSE, AFCAT, CGCAT, and CAPF assess a aspirant’s conceptual understanding and ability to apply knowledge effectively. To ensure thorough preparation, subiect-matter experts conduct classes in English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, and Reasoning Ability as per the respective exam syllabi. In addition to academic instruction, training for SSB interviews includes essential components such as Tests, Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, Group Planning Exercises, and Situation Reaction Tests. These modules help aspirant’s develop the Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) required for selection. This comprehensive training is conducted in parallel with regular academic sessions, ensuring balanced and holistic preparation for both the written exams and the SSB.

At MKDEI – City Centre, SSB interview grooming is designed to help aspirants develop these essential qualities. Training includes focused sessions on Group Discussions, Group Planning Exercises, Situation Reaction Tests, Psychological Testing, Personal Interviews, and Leadership Development Modules. Emphasis is laid on enhancing communication skills, clarity of thought, problem-solving abilities, and confidence key components evaluated during the SSB selection process. This structured approach enables aspirants to present themselves as well-prepared and competent candidates, ready to meet the expectations of the Services Selection Board.

Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE):

Graduation in any discipline for IMA/OTA,
Engineering degree for INA, or B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics / B.E. /B. Tech for AFA.
Age Eligibility : 1 9 to 24 years for IMA, INA,
and AFA; 19 to 25 years for OTA.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) :

Graduation in any stream with 60% marks and Physics & Mathematics in 12th for Flying Branch; B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks for Technical Branch; any graduation for Ground Duty (Non-Tech.).
Age Eligibility: 20 to 24 years for Flying Branch; 20 to 26 years for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Tech.).
Coast Guard Admission Test (CGAT) :
B.E./B.Tech in relevant disciplines for Technical Branch any
degree with 60% marks for General Duty Branch.
Age Eligibility : 21 to 25 years.

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) :

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Age Eligibility : 20 to 25 years.
